About Me:

Ive been fishing since i was 5, with dad at the local estureys catching flounder and bass, which are now non existent due to the commercial boats.
but my love for coarse fishing started when i was about 10 when i was catching roach tench and eels, on float tackle but i used to see these carp swimming around in the hot weather or just sitting hipnotised on the far bank on the edge of trees.
i thought they were impossible to catch as the times i was fishing they were allways lazing around, then a year later when my love for fishing got more serious i started getting to the moat early for a good days fishing. thats when i used to see the reeds trembling as something a lot bigger than a roach was moving through,then it happend i hooked and lost a carp the fight was something i had never experienced and now i was tarketing these carp still on float and 2lb bottom and got good at landing carp to 9lb on light tackle.
but there was only one way it could all go and now i spend upto a week at a time trying to catch carp as we all do the grown up lazy way behind buzzers but hey i love it.........Dan
